Amos Le Blanc — Biography
Amos Le Blanc is an award-winning Canadian director and cinematographer recognized globally for his bold, highly cinematic visual style. Based in Toronto and Los Angeles, he is the founder of dream inc. (www.thedream.io), a creative collective launched in 2018, and is prominent for directing high-profile commercial campaigns, narrative short films, and music videos for major record labels including OVO, XO, Universal, Sony, and Capitol.
Career & Creative Focus
Music videos. Le Blanc broke into the industry directing visually striking videos for artists on labels such as OVO, XO, and Universal. Thugli's "Run This" — co-directed with Ohji Inoue — earned a Vimeo Staff Pick, won MMVA Director of the Year, and took the Cannes Young Director Award Gold in 2015. Young Empires' "The Gates" earned him a second Cannes Gold the following year. Keys N Krates' "Dum Dee Dum" was certified RIAA Gold. Rudimental and James Arthur's "Sun Comes Up" reached number six on the UK Singles Chart.
Commercial campaigns. Le Blanc is a leading commercial director, crafting advertisements for Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Disney, Air Canada, Budweiser, American Express, Beats by Dre, Canon, and Holt Renfrew. He is represented internationally for commercial work by The Sweet Shop, signed in August 2016 following his second Cannes Young Director Award win.
dream inc. Le Blanc founded dream inc. (www.thedream.io) in 2018 — a creative collective of directors, producers, writers, designers, 3D artists, and web and creative direction.
Feature film development. He is developing his debut narrative feature film, Neverenders, in collaboration with American independent studio A24 — a story about the ones who refuse to end.
