director & filmmaker — toronto & los angeles
Amos Le Blanc is a Canadian director and cinematographer whose work exists at the intersection of cinema, music, and visual art. His films are defined by an uncompromising visual language — visceral, elevated, and executed with a level of craft that places him among a rare class of directors operating at the highest level internationally.
A two-time Cannes Young Director Award winner (Gold, First Prize) and MMVA Director of the Year, Le Blanc's directorial vision transforms every project into something that transcends its format. Each music video is a complete, self-contained world — every frame composed with the precision and intentionality of cinema.
record-breaking debut
In his debut year directing music videos, Le Blanc received more nominations at the MuchMusic Video Awards than any other Canadian director in a single year — a record that surpassed veteran directors including Director X and announced the arrival of an extraordinary directorial talent. He won MMVA Director of the Year and Best Electronic Video in the same night.
the work
His body of work is remarkable for its range and consistency. Each music video is completely unique — a different world, a different tone, a different visual language — yet unified by a mastery of visual storytelling that is unmistakably his own. From the provocative social commentary of Thugli's "Run This" (Cannes Gold) to the viral spectacle of Autoerotique's "Asphyxiation" (1M+ views) to the conceptual brilliance of Keys N Krates' "Dum Dee Dum" (RIAA Gold) to the cinematic grandeur of Rudimental's "Sun Comes Up" (34.6M views, #6 UK) — only a handful of directors worldwide execute at this level of consistent artistic ambition.
commercial work — top canadian commercial director
His commercial work spans the world's most recognized brands — Mercedes, Canon, Disney, American Express, Budweiser, Air Canada, Tesla, Beats by Dre, Holt Renfrew, Sportchek, Fridays for Future, and McDonald's. His music videos have been created for artists on XO, OVO, Universal Records, Sony Records, and Capitol Records.
feature film
Currently in production on Neverenders, an A24 feature film rumoured to star Timothée Chalamet and Marion Cotillard.
